Here’s an “unusual” Corsa LCPG, in that I usually chamber all my Corsa guitars, with very few exceptions. It has a 100% one piece solid mahogany body with no sort of weight relief at all, for the player who wants a traditional build and heavier weight. As always, my focus is on providing unmatched “Peter Green Tone.” On this guitar, I used a standard braided wire Manalishi pickup in the neck position with the magnet flipped. That is how Peter Green’s LP was – “magnetically out of phase.” There is a push-pull on the bridge tone control, attached to a 4 wire Manalishi, to go “IN PHASE” when the pot is in the UP position. Of note, this is the first Corsa guitar to use bell brass bridge posts, which is what was used on the 50’s Les Pauls, as well as a new Faber Tone-Lock bridge in bell brass. The result is a nice, warm tone that brass provides. Of course, the guitar comes in a custom CORSA TKL case with Manalishi graphics on the outside.
