I bought a Gibson Les Paul Tribute that came with a Lightning Bar bridge. It played in tune with the fixed saddle pattern but had a dull tone and the bridge tilted down in the posts. The width of the stock bridge was very close to the pickup ring making it difficult to restring. The Faber is incredibly light compared to the zinc bar. They say these ‘will play in tune’ and they do. I went with the cut-away string break and smooth wrap without string grooves which adds to the simplicity. No ‘sitar’ affect from the wrap. With the thin width, the gap from the pickup is opened up where restringing is a breeze. I added locking posts removing any bridge tilt. This thing now zings and sings with tone and sustain. Nice products!
