The Steel tailpiece studs, all on their own, made a boost in treble or high-mids, that made my flatwounds sound crisper, and my plains sound sweeter, with no downsides. A very even spread of the EQ. Just TP studs! Same T.Infeld strings, Gibson SG12, replaced the brass TP studs. Way to go, Faber, and cheers to vintagey spec!
