There is no difference in tone between nickel plated brass and natural brass saddles, gloss or aged. The choice is strictly cosmetic. NOTE: Gloss or Aged Nickel Plated saddles not available on Gloss or Aged Gold bridges.
The HYBRIDge™ saddle option is the recommended choice for all guitars. Titanium saddles for the wound strings adds clarity and crispness to those strings, which are often “muddy” sounding.
Titanium saddles are brighter sounding than brass saddles. A full set of six is recommended for guitars that are too dark sounding. We do not recommend titanium saddles for the plain strings if the guitar is already normal to bright sounding.
