This was a great upgrade for my 2008 Les Paul Standard Plus, I too wrap my stoptail usually but this actually game me the bump I needed to clear the back of the bridge without too wrapping.. it seems as though it’s helped with the tone a bit as well being that it has a much better connection to the stud. I’d say it was worth the price.
